Hairloss Check ("we," "our," or "the site") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Photos You Upload
Photos you upload for analysis are never stored on our servers. They are sent directly to our AI vision provider (Anthropic) to generate your result, then immediately discarded from our memory.
How Anthropic handles your photo:
- Anthropic temporarily retains API request data (including your photo) for up to 30 days for safety and abuse monitoring purposes, then automatically deletes it.
- Anthropic does NOT use API-submitted photos to train their AI models. This is contractually prohibited under their Commercial API Terms.
- Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve your photo after analysis. Our system is designed so that no human at this site ever sees your photo.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit Hairloss Check, our hosting provider and analytics tools may collect:
- Anonymous usage data (pages visited, time on site, device type, browser type)
- IP address (used for anti-abuse and aggregated traffic analytics; not linked to your identity)
- Cookies for analytics and advertising (see "Cookies" below)
We do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal identifiers unless you voluntarily provide them.
Cookies and Advertising
We use Google AdSense and similar advertising services. These services may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
We may also use analytics services such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. These services use cookies that do not identify you personally.
